Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role in the San Antonio, Texas Metropolitan Area for a 4th/5th ELAR & Social Studies Teacher. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) as well as Social Studies lessons aligned with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) curriculum. The teacher will assess student performance, provide individualized support, and maintain a classroom environment that fosters learning and growth. Collaborating with colleagues and engaging with parents and the school community to support student success are key components of this role. Qualifications Strong knowledge of English Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies instruction, including classroom strategies and curriculum alignment with TEKSExperience in lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessmentEffective communication and collaboration skills to work with students, parents, and colleaguesCommitment to fostering an inclusive classroom that supports a diverse student populationAbility to engage students through project-based learning and other creative teaching methodsBachelor's degree in Education, English, History, or related field; valid Texas teaching certification preferredExperience working with elementary-level students and familiarity with special education practices are beneficial
