Openings: 5 3 for 1st shift, 2 for 2nd shift Client: AMETEK Job ID: 10785-1 Job Title: Inspector A Location: 75 Aircraft Rd, Southington, CT 06489 Duration: 10 Months Pay Rate: $20/hr on W2 (Including all benefits) Shift: 1 Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 2 Shift 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM SPC Inspector Performs new and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard parts.. Responsible for receiving, in-process, or final inspections as required. Responsible for utilizing aptitude in measurement techniques, metrology, and blueprint reading and verify operators are accurately measuring and recording dimensions on IP sheets or other documentation. May perform first article and first piece approval for operators. Perform and assist in developing internal and external corrective action responses. Perform inspection duties, as required. Support quality improvement and cost savings initiatives, as required. Assist the supervisor, Quality Inspector II, and Quality Engineer, as required. Assist in other production areas, as needed.
