Ultrasound Tech Location: Houston, TX Agency: Pride Health Pay: $47 to $53 per hour Shift Information: 5 days x 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist to support our client's medical facilities based in Houston, TX (77055 & 77024). This is a 3-month assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization! Job Details: Job Name: Ultrasound Technologist Location: Houston, TX 77055 & Houston, TX 77024 Duration: 3 months Contract (Possibilities of extension) Payrate: $47-53/hr. On W2 (Pay Rate is based on experience) Schedule: 7 AM – 4:30 PM / Monday - Friday (no holidays/weekends) Job Responsibilities: Perform high-quality vascular and venous sonographic studies following established KSC Radiology protocols. Appropriately seek physician intervention as needed during diagnostic exams. Apply technical principles to ensure optimal image production, considering patient anatomy, orientation, and clinical abnormalities. Communicate effectively with patients of varying ages and backgrounds to provide clear instructions during procedures. Participate in technical quality control, including routine equipment checks, maintenance, and reporting operational issues. Maintain and document cleaning logs and ensure adequate supply levels. Qualifications: High school/GED or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of direct clinical experience in vascular ultrasound. At least 1 year of cumulative experience in venous sonography. RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) — Required. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification — Required.
