Purchasing Specialist
Our client is a well-known food manufacturer. Due to growth, seeking a Purchasing Specialist to join the Procurement team. Primary responsibilities include:Monitor raw material inventory, forecast demand, and ensure timely replenishment to support uninterrupted production.Create and manage purchase orders through ERP for approved vendors and non-system supply items.Track open orders, confirm delivery schedules, and communicate potential supply chain delays.Maintain accurate inventory records, reconcile stock levels, and oversee warehouse and co-packer documentation.Coordinate label updates, purchasing documentation, and monthly inventory reconciliation processes.Position reports to Director or PurchasingIdeal candidates for Purchasing Specialist will possess the followingBachelors degree.2+ years experience in food production environmentUnderstanding of GMPKnowledge of Navision or Quickbooks a plusProficient with MS ExcelSalary up to $75,000/yr.
