Together, we do great things.Who You Are & The Impact You Will Have: The Corporate Counsel - Sales supports the company's legal operations in a variety of matters, with a focus that includes customer contract negotiations, negotiating and drafting other transactional matters, general corporate matters, corporate governance, internal corporate policies and procedures, along with drafting and negotiating other transactional matters including managing books and record keeping.What You Will Do:Overseeing general corporate legal mattersNegotiating and drafting customer contracts as well as various other transactional mattersManage customer-related legal issuesProvide practical legal guidance on sales-related mattersAssisting with legal and regulatory complianceAssisting with corporate governance mattersAssisting with compliance with various domestic and international privacy lawsAssisting with the company's data security program as they intersect with customer agreementsPartner with cross-functional teams to streamline contractingAssisting with management of the Company's insurance program and operationsPerforming a broad range of legal matters and general business matters based on the needs of the company, as assigned.Working with and managing outside counsel, counterparties, insurers, and other third parties as neededWhat You Will Need to be Successful:J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic credentialsAdmission to the Bar of a U.S. state or the District of ColumbiaThree or more years of legal experience as a practicing lawyer working in a general corporate transactional practiceKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Hands-on, self-starter who is disciplined and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting that requires a highly accurate and timely work productAgile and versatile; comfortable with new and unfamiliar subject matter; easily adaptable to changeAble to maintain a high degree of confidentialityEnterprising and entrepreneurialAble to take initiative with no directionStrong written and oral communication skillsStrong listening, organizational, and interpersonal skillsStrong work ethic and accountability to deadlinesAbility to work in a fast-paced and evolving business environmentProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Box, Workday, DocuSignExcellent analytical, time-management, judgment and decision-making skillsPossess ambition and an optimistic attitudeAbility to effectively multitask and manage competing priorities and demands on timeStrong problem-solving and negotiation skillsAble to effectively manage complicated legal and business issuesAbility to effectively manage others, including outside counsel and service providersThe Perks (and these are just a few!):QRest Sabbatical Employee Stock PurchaseQTS scholarship for dependentsEagle Club award trip eligibilityPaid volunteer days Tuition assistance, parental leave and military leave assistanceTotal RewardsThis role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending and HSA accounts; paid holidays; paid time off; paid volunteer days; employee assistance program; tuition assistance; parental leave; military leave assistance; QTS scholarship for dependents; wellness program, and other company benefits.This position is Bonus eligible.We conform to all the laws, statutes, and regulations concerning equal employment opportunities and affirmative action.
