Child & Adolescent Tele PsychiatristThe Child & Adolescent Telepsychiatrist will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, telepsychiatry consultations, treatment planning, and clinical documentation services for children and adolescents receiving behavioral health treatment through New York State Office of Mental Health programs. The psychiatrist will collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams and utilize OMH electronic medical record systems while maintaining HIPAA-compliant telehealth practices.Core ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations and assessmentsDiagnose behavioral and mental health conditionsProvide medication management servicesDevelop and update treatment plansConduct telepsychiatry sessionsComplete admission assessments and annual evaluationsPrepare discharge assessments and clinical documentationMaintain timely and accurate EMR documentationParticipate in multidisciplinary treatment team collaborationRequired QualificationsEducationDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)CertificationsBoard Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry ORBoard Eligible within 3 years of completion of accredited fellowship programLicensingActive and unrestricted medical licenseAbility to legally practice psychiatry in New York StateDEA registration preferredRequired ExperienceExperience providing psychiatric services to children and adolescentsExperience with telepsychiatry/telehealth servicesExperience using EMR/EHR systemsStrong clinical documentation experienceExperience collaborating with multidisciplinary clinical teamsPreferred ExperienceExperience working in psychiatric hospitals or behavioral health programsExperience with OMH or state behavioral health systemsExperience treating pediatric/adolescent psychiatric populationsExperience with MHARS or similar EMR systems
