Customer Management Associate
GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITYThe Customer Management Associate is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving revenue growth through strategic leasing, and ensuring effective collaboration across internal teams. This role acts as a trusted advisor to customers and as a key connector within the organization, balancing strategic priorities with operational execution.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent Compass Datacenters in the marketplace by building trust, strengthening customer partnerships, and identifying opportunities for growthAchieve Net Operating Income (NOI) objectives through effective leasing strategies and proactive customer engagementCoordinate cross-functional teams throughout complex deal cycles to ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverablesMaintain internal transparency through consistent communication, updates, and reportingManage post-lease handover processes, ensuring accuracy and clarity through standardized documentationDevelop customer account roadmaps and organizational charts to deepen engagement and expand relationshipsLead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess performance and identify improvement opportunitiesCollaborate with marketing and product teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trendsMonitor competitive activity and industry developments to inform strategic decision-makingBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIESDemonstrates a positive, composed, and collaborative approach, especially in high-pressure situationsCommunicates strategic objectives and organizational priorities clearly to internal and external stakeholdersProactively builds and maintains cross-functional relationships, including regular in-person engagementTakes ownership of commitments and drives accountability while modeling organizational valuesContinuously identifies opportunities to improve processes, tools, and outcomes based on feedback and insightsExperience Requirements3–5 years of experience in customer management, strategic account management, or enterprise salesExperience within technology, real estate, or data center industries strongly preferredProven ability to meet or exceed revenue targets and manage complex negotiationsProficiency using CRM platforms (Zoho preferred)Experience with organizational mapping or diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart)EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field requiredMBA preferredLanguage RequirementsFluent professional proficiency in English requiredAdditional language skills relevant to the market are a plusKnowledge And SkillsStrong relationship-building and negotiation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insightsUnderstanding of data center industry trends and customer requirements
