Job Description Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A center-based behavior program is seeking a Special Education Teacher to support students requiring intensive behavioral interventions and assistance with reintegration into general education settings. This role primarily serves students in grades 2 through 5, though the grade range may extend from kindergarten through 5th grade depending on enrollment.Location: Anoka, MN (School setting)Key Responsibilities:Manage a caseload of approximately 10 students with diverse disabilities, including Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Other Health Disabilities (OHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Blind/Visually Impaired (BVI).Provide specialized instruction and behavioral support in a center-based classroom environment.Facilitate students reintegration into mainstream classrooms, with some students spending part of their day in general education settings.Collaborate closely with a high number of educational assistants, currently seven staff members, to ensure individualized student support.Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student&#39;s needs.Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with families, staff, and related service providers.Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.Valid Minnesota State Licensure in Special Education.Experience working with students who have behavioral challenges is highly desirable.Strong teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with staff and families.Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet the varied needs of students.Benefits & Perks:Opportunity to work within a highly supportive team environment.Engage with a diverse student population requiring specialized behavioral supports.Make a meaningful impact on students educational and social progress.If you are committed to providing high-quality special education services in a behavior-centered program, please apply to become a valued educator in this dynamic setting.Compensation for this position ranges from $31.78 to $51.78.
