Loan Officer

Job Overview As a Loan Officer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our members with their loan applications and guiding them through the loan process. You will be responsible for evaluating, authorizing, or recommending approval of loan applications for individuals. Duties - Review loan applications to ensure all necessary documents are included - Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans - Stay up-to-date on loan product guidelines, eligibility requirements, and pricing - Develop and maintain relationships with our members to ensure smooth loan processing - Provide exceptional member service throughout the loan application process - Collaborate with underwriters and closers to expedite the approval and closing process Experience - Previous experience in a financial institution or related field is preferred - Knowledge of financial software - Familiarity with loan origination software systems - Understanding of credit analysis and financial services - Excellent mathematical skills - Proven track record in member/customer service - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for finance and customer service to excel in the credit union industry.
