Fleet Consultant

Are you passionate about solving business problems through data, strategy, and client collaboration? Merchants Fleet is seeking a Fleet Consultant to join our growing consulting and analytics team. In this role, you’ll partner with clients to identify opportunities for fleet optimization, cost reduction, and operational efficiency while helping shape innovative solutions and reporting capabilities across the organization.This role is ideal for someone with experience in FP&A, financial analysis, consulting, business analytics, or corporate strategy who enjoys turning data into actionable business insights.Salary: approximately $95,000, dependent on qualifications and experienceWhat You’ll DoPartner with clients to analyze fleet operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic objectivesConduct fleet business reviews, portfolio analyses, and custom reporting to deliver data-driven recommendationsBuild and present insights and solutions to client fleet management teams and business leadersDevelop dashboards, visualizations, and reporting tools using PowerBI and other analytics platformsCollaborate cross-functionally with Client Experience, Operations, Technology, and other internal teams to support consulting initiatives and continuous improvement effortsSupport enhancements to Merchants’ client technology platform, TotalView, including reporting and analytics capabilitiesManage client relationships and special projects from analysis through implementationTranslate complex data into practical business recommendations and executive-level presentationsContribute innovative ideas and process improvements to support the evolution of Merchants’ consulting services and solutionsWhat We’re Looking ForEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Analytics, Economics, or related field required3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, consulting, business analytics, corporate strategy, or related fieldsExperience working with large data sets, reporting tools, and business intelligence platformsExperience with PowerBI, SQL, or advanced analytics tools preferredSkills & Strengths:Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to turn data into actionable insightsAdvanced Microsoft Excel and data visualization skillsAbility to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiencesStrong presentation and relationship-building skillsHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneouslyIntellectual curiosity, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindsetSelf-motivated with a collaborative, team-oriented approachAbility to travel up to 25%The CompanyYou're invigorated by team collaboration and a fast-paced work environment.
