Development Director

Director Of Development Northern New Jersey AreaTerrific Director Of Development position with a grassroots organization that strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children, and families. The Director Of Development will partner with the Executive Director and Development Committee to implement and manage fundraising strategies through various sources, including individual gifts, events, and grants.Responsibilities:Design and implement a fund development plan in collaboration with the Development Committee and Executive DirectorProvide moves management to new and existing individual donors, corporate partners, and institutional grantorsIdentify and cultivate new entry and mid-level donorsWork to increase giving levels for existing donorsDraft grant proposals and reports; assist volunteer grant writers while ensuring grant deadlines are metSupport the Executive Director in prospecting and cultivating existing major gift donorsAssist the Development Committee with events managementCreate monthly fundraising and donor reports; perform data analysis to maximize performanceManage the donor CRM in collaboration with the Office ManagerQualifications:Approximately 7+ years of relevant fundraising experienceBachelor's degree requiredStrong database management skills; experience with Salesforce or a similar CRMThrive in a highly collaborative environment; excited to engage with various stakeholders, including staff, volunteers and committee membersStrong time management, interpersonal, communication, and writing skillsExperience working with volunteer boards a plusExperience with Jewish philanthropy is a plusEqual opportunity employer.
