The company values a diverse workforce, including armed services veterans, and fosters a culture of technical excellence and strong customer service.Role Description The Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine Operator role at CNC Manufacturing, Inc. is a full-time, on-site position based in Coatesville, PA. This role involves setting up, operating, and monitoring CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. The CNC Machine Operator will select and install tools and fixtures, load materials, adjust offsets, and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure efficient and safe operation. Daily responsibilities include measuring and inspecting parts using precision instruments, documenting quality checks, and following SPC and ISO-compliant procedures. The individual in this role will collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality personnel to resolve production issues, improve processes, and support training of team members on best practices.QualificationsStrong CNC machining skills, including machine setup, operation, tooling selection, and working with close-tolerance parts.Basic to intermediate CNC programming abilities, such as editing programs at the machine, understanding G-code, and interpreting engineering drawings.Ability to share knowledge and support informal on-the-job training or mentoring of peers and new team members.Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and following SPC, ISO, or similar quality standards.Familiarity with machining a variety of metals and materials; experience in aerospace, medical, or defense manufacturing is a plus.Strong attention to detail, safety mindset, and ability to follow standardized work instructions and documentation procedures.High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical training in machining or manufacturing technology preferred.Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials as needed, and work assigned shifts, including potential overtime.
