As a family-owned company, we value teamwork, integrity, and long-term employee growth.ResponsibilitiesConstruction LaborerSecure job site each day to eliminate potential hazardsEnsures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are adhered toBrings any and all safety or hazardous conditions/concerns to the attention of the foremanOperates construction, excavation, hauling, and maintenance equipment including backhoes, front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, or grade tractors.Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation.Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concrete.Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites.Uses equipment to prepare building sites for exterior site concrete such as parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, and loading docks.Operates machinery used to build bridges, roads, and railroads.Inspects and fuels vehicles prior to beginning shift.Performs routine maintenance and repairs.Performs other related duties as assignedOperate powered hand tools, when necessaryWorking with Fuels/gasolinePaintingWorks on outside equipment as required, regardless of weather conditionsPrevious experience and knowledge of fuel systems, electrical and/or plumbing is highly desirableSolid communication skillsCustomer focusedResults drivenStrong teamworkReliable and dependable attendanceAccurately complete required paperwork/documentationComply with all safety policies and employment guidelinesExperience with Power tools and Power equipment is highly desirableClass A CDL/ Heavy Machine OperatorStrives to continually improve the effectiveness of all processes and proceduresBalances team and individual responsibilitiesContributes to building a positive team spiritSupports everyone's efforts to succeedSpecialized in loading and making deliveriesPrepares paperwork for each loadMaintains daily logs and ensures accuracyEnsure all documents are completed in accordance to State and Federal regulationsInspect the truck/equipment and load prior to each departureStops at required weigh and check stations, if applicableConfirm all cargo is secured prior to departureEqual Opportunity EmployerEmpaco is an Equal Opportunity Employer that complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws, including those of the State of Ohio.
