SAP Master Data Analyst
Summary: The SAP Master Data Analyst is responsible for the creation, maintenance, governance, and quality of master data within the SAP system. The role ensures data accuracy, consistency, and compliance to support efficient operations, reporting, and decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate, update, and maintain master data in SAP (e.g. material, customer, vendor, and financial data)Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across SAP modulesPerform data audits and cleansing activities to improve data qualityCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data requirementsSupport SAP implementation, upgrades, and data migration projectsDevelop and enforce master data governance policies, standards, and proceduresTroubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutionsGenerate reports and analyze master data trends to support business decisionsMaintain documentation for data processes and workflowsEnsure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or related field2-5+ years of experience in SAP master data management or similar roleHands-on experience with SAP modules (e.g. BEAS, LISA, etc.)Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, data analysis)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP B1Knowledge of data migration toolsFamiliarity with data governance toolsBasic SQL or data analysis skillsKey SkillsData management and governanceSAP systems expertiseAnalytical thinkingCommunication and CollaborationProblem-solvingProcess improvementPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
