PROJECT COORDINATOR
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide administrative assistance to the project manager, preparing subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders and submittal review. Collate information and liaise with the site superintendent tracking progress on site and recording quality and schedule.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or associated qualification. If no degree is held, a competent resume of project management experience is required
Excellent organizational skills, good at taking the initiative, willing to learn and ask questions
Good personal, communication, and relational skills
Able to see improvements in processes and implement them
Capable of understanding plans and specifications, and able to relate them effectively to subcontractors
Working knowledge of construction means and methods, subcontractor capabilities, and building materials
Knowledge of contracts, insurance, bonding, and liens
Familiarity with construction software for takeoff, job costs, and project administration
Able to work to tight deadlines
Able to manage priorities and track the changing needs of a project
Able to use scheduling software and capable of putting a working schedule together
Understanding of consultant’s responsibilities and our obligations for Design Bid Build, Construction Manager at Risk and Design Build delivery methods
Knowledge of building code and city requirements
Proficient in MS office
Valid driver’s license
