Participate in activities such as art appreciation, vintage piece collecting, and discussing current pop culture!Employment Information Location: Thousand OaksFull & Part-Time: $20 / hourMileage reimbursement$10/month cell phone stipendFlexible Shifts: Weekday & Weekends, Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings, and overnight shiftsBenefits Health care benefits and PTO available if you transition to full time employmentDiscounts on Pet InsuranceCal-Savers retirement planYour Responsibilities Assist participant in connecting with their community and assist in building lasting relationships via providing transportation, participating in events, volunteering, and moreSupport participants with daily living skills such as cleaning, cooking, budget management, and light household dutiesFollowing care plans and helping participants achieve their personal goalsEncourage healthy habits, studies, hobbies, and social activitiesAssist with personal care such as medication support, hygiene and bathing (lifting / transferring may be required)Collaborate Person-Centered Care planning with participant, staff and managementDocument shift and communication logsWho We're Looking For Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindsetSomeone who has a warm, respectful, and professional demeanorSomeone who is capable of communication with dignity and respect, especially during challenging momentsA valid driver's licenseResponsible, and can document goal progress tracking with detailDSP 1 & 2 certification (preferred, applicants who are not yet certified can take advantage of our internal certification programs)CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if applicants are not certified or need to be recertified)Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)Who We Are People Creating Success (PCS) is a Californian leader in providing services for adults with developmental disabilities for over 20 years.
