Senior Cost Accountant
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company to identify a Senior Cost Accountant. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role where you’ll own full-cycle accounting while partnering closely with operations. The team is looking for someone who brings an eager, roll-up-your-sleeves mindset and is excited about long-term growth.Senior Cost Accountant – Why This Opportunity Stands Out Salary: $90,000 – $105,000 (flexible up to $110K for the right background) Fully onsite role with strong collaboration across accounting and operations High-impact position with ownership of full-cycle accounting and cost accounting Direct exposure to leadership with opportunity to influence processes and reporting Growth potential within a stable, established manufacturing environmentSenior Cost Accountant – Key Responsibilities Own full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations Lead cost accounting processes, including inventory, standard costing, and variance analysis Partner closely with operations to understand production costs and improve financial visibility Maintain and review general ledger activity, ensuring accuracy and completeness Support financial reporting and provide insight into cost drivers and business performance Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, and internal controls Assist with audit support and ongoing compliance requirementsSenior Cost Accountant – Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred (flexible for strong, relevant experience) 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including cost accounting in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of inventory, BOMs, and cost analysis Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with the ability to operate independently Eager attitude and interest in long-term growth Strong systems aptitude; ERP experience preferred#INMAPR2026
