This position offers flexibility with options for full-time or part-time employment while providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of veterans.Key ResponsibilitiesReview relevant medical history documentation and perform audiology compensation and pension examinations for Veterans.Utilize a web-based examination form to document responses during the exam, ensuring all records are maintained electronically.Conduct comprehensive audio exams to evaluate hearing loss or tinnitus.Perform standard testing, including Pure Tone Air and Bone, tympanometry, acoustic reflex testing, and speech recognition.Access fully-equipped facilities including custom soundproof booths for conducting exams.Required SkillsHold an active and unrestricted Audiologist license.Possess a master’s or doctorate from a CAA, ACAE, or ASHA accredited program.Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in various situations.Exhibit proficiency in basic computer skills.Previous experience with VA or compensation exams is a plus, but not required.QualificationsActive and unrestricted Audiologist license.Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology or a related field from an accredited institution.Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Career Growth OpportunitiesJoining Matrix Providers not only allows you to contribute to the well-being of veterans but also offers avenues for professional development in the audiology field.
