Any currently registered ARRT (R) technologists, or upcoming registry eligible graduates, who are interested in learning Mammography may apply. This employment opportunity is specifically focused on supporting clinical hours in Mammography, and learning Mammography procedures and protocols with our team of high quality breast care professionals.Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Our mission is to improve the health of patients in the communities we serve by providing them with the highest quality imaging and associated medical care.Primary Responsibilities:During a typical day you will...Learn, observe, and assist with mammography exams on patients providing high quality imagesAssist with technical/clerical functions in related areas of mammography imaging including quality assurance and controlHelp provide clear and detailed information regarding exams and care to patientsAssist with appropriate documentation and obtain interpretation for each examAdhere to radiation safety protocols in order to minimize exposure to patient and staffManage patient priority and act as a first responder when neededAssist in general X-Ray as neededAll other duties as assignedRequirements:Must currently hold ARRT (R) certification OR be able to obtain before start dateMust complete Mammography didactic courses separatelyMust be willing and able to obtain ARRT (M) registry within required timeframe after completion of cross-training programCurrent BLS/CPR certification12 month full-time employment commitment post cross-trainingReliable and professional technologistMust be able to read, write, and speak in EnglishOutcomesUpon completion of training and ARRT (M) registry, employee will be eligible to apply and be considered for any full time ISJ Mammography opportunityPay adjustment to Mammographer market compensationSign-on bonus eligibility when converting to staff Mammography roleThe potential to learn further breast imaging servicesBase compensation for this role is between $26.00 to $34.50 per hour. An additional 10% of base wage is offered during Mammography training hours.In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
