Job Title: OneStream Developer / LeadLocation: Santa Clara, CA (100% onsite)Lng term Contract Job Description Role OverviewThe OneStream Developer / Lead is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting OneStream applications that power the organization’s financial consolidation, close, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. The role combines hands-on configuration and business-rule development with delivery responsibilities, and — in the Lead variant — includes oversight of a team of developers and consultants. The position works closely with the OneStream Architect, Finance stakeholders (FP&A, Accounting, Controlling), and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable, well-governed solutions.Key Responsibilities1. Application Development & ConfigurationDesign and develop scalable applications within OneStreamBuild and maintain:Business Rules (VB.NET-based) for calculations and logicCube Views for reportingDashboards and Workspaces for end usersForms and Workflow configurationsConfigure metadata (dimensions, hierarchies, members)Develop reusable components and templates2. Financial Process ImplementationImplement and support:Financial consolidation and close processesIntercompany eliminations and currency translationsPlanning, budgeting, and forecasting modelsAlign system design with accounting standards and business processes3. Data Integration & ETLDesign and develop data integration pipelines:Load data from ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)Work with staging tables and transformation rulesDevelop and maintain:Data Management sequencesMapping tables and validation checksEnsure data accuracy, reconciliation, and auditability4. Performance Optimization & TroubleshootingAnalyze and optimize:Business rules performanceData load timesCube calculation efficiencyTroubleshoot:Data inconsistenciesWorkflow failuresSystem performance bottlenecks5. Testing & DeploymentParticipate in:Unit testingSystem Integration Testing (SIT)User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Support production deployments and release cyclesManage migration across environments (Dev, Test, Prod)6.
