Survey Technician

Job Title: Survey CAD TechnicianWe’re looking for a detail‑oriented Survey CAD Technician who enjoys transforming survey data into accurate, high‑quality drawings that support real-world projects. In this role, you’ll use AutoCAD to convert field measurements into plats, maps, and exhibits that guide land development, infrastructure, and construction projects across the region.You’ll collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project managers—and see your work make a visible impact in the places people live, work, and gather.What You’ll DoProduce survey drawings and exhibits, including boundary, ALTA/NSPS, topographic, and as‑built surveysCreate site plans, right‑of‑way maps, and subdivision platsInterpret and reduce field data and survey notes into accurate CAD deliverablesBuild surface models, contours, and digital terrain modelsPerform basic survey calculations (COGO, areas, curves, elevations)Apply drafting standards and quality control proceduresUpdate drawings based on redlines and field revisionsAssist with survey documentation and project records as neededWhat You BringProficiency with AutoCADWorking knowledge of land surveying concepts and terminologyAbility to read survey notes, plats, and construction plansStrong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlinesBonus: Experience with Civil 3D, Carlson, or MicroStation, or relevant coursework in surveying, geomatics, or civil drafting.Why You’ll Love Working HereYou’ll Join a Well‑established, Growing Multidisciplinary Civil Engineering Firm With a Strong People‑first Culture And Offices Across The Carolinas, Florida, And Texas.
