Program Director - Business Modernization Program
For our client, we are seeking a Program Director - Business Modernization Program to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.This leader will drive a major business modernization effort that connects enterprise strategy with operational execution across a complex manufacturing environment. The role will own end-to-end ERP program leadership, guiding cross-functional stakeholders through planning, implementation, and stabilization while ensuring business process alignment and disciplined change management. You will partner closely with division and business leaders to establish priorities, define program metrics, and support data quality and integration across the enterprise.Location: Buffalo, NY - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $225,000 – $285,000 annuallyResponsibilities Own and lead the end-to-end ERP program from planning through post-implementation Ensure alignment with enterprise business strategy and design principles throughout the process Serve as a decision-maker for business process topics during the ERP lifecycle Define key program metrics and communicate them across functions Lead and develop the ERP team for clear communication and process ownership Build and maintain strong partnerships with division and business leadership to understand priorities Ensure data cleansing and integration practices are applied consistently across the enterpriseQualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field 8+ years of experience in program management or large-scale modernization initiatives or projects Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, product lifecycle management, and production planning Proven ability to bridge technical and business perspectives with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Project and change management experience Demonstrated leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and complex initiativesBenefits Great compensation package and bonus opportunities Flexible paid time off, holidays, and parental leave program Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance coverage Tuition assistance and professional development opportunities Warm, respectful, family-like working environment and multiple Employee Resource GroupsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
