Distribution Estimator/Engineer – Power Delivery Project SupportSCS Technical Shared Services, Project SupportThis position will be located in Forest Park, GA (Metro-Atlanta).WORK LOCATION, SCHEDULE, & TRAVELThis position will be based out of Metro-Atlanta (Forest Park, GA).Successful candidates are expected to be in the office or at a field location four days per week and can work remotely the remaining day of the week.Some relocation assistance may be provided if the successful candidate does not currently live within a reasonable commute distance.This position will require some travel (day and overnight, up to 50%) and the ability to work successfully in a remote/virtual environment with access to internet service.JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing project scoping, estimating, design and construction support services in support of Georgia Power's distribution projects that are associated with transmission capital projects. It supports Georgia Power's planning and budgeting processes (Gated Process) by providing complete and accurate estimates of material, labor, and total costs associated with distribution projects. The position requires field visits and will involve travel in the GPC footprint, up to 50% of the time.
