Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Fargo, ND, for a Community and Connection Coordinator. The role involves planning and organizing community outreach initiatives, fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders, and promoting an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include creating and managing events to cultivate strong connections within the college and external communities, developing communication strategies, and collaborating with colleagues across departments. The Coordinator will also analyze engagement efforts and implement innovative approaches to enhance community relationships. Qualifications Experience in community engagement, outreach, and relationship buildingStrong communication and presentation skills, including effective public speaking and social media content creationEvent planning, project management, and organizational skillsCultural competency and an ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgroundsData analysis and strategy development for improving outreach effortsBachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Sociology, or a related fieldProficiency with digital tools for communication and project management is preferredPrevious experience in higher education, nonprofits, or community-focused organizations is a plus
