The application supports case tracking, reporting, invoicing, and operational workflows.This engagement focuses primarily on enhancing and maintaining an established in-house application rather than building a new system from the ground up.Project ScopeThe organization is implementing several application improvements to increase efficiency, reporting capabilities, and accounting visibility. Key initiatives include:Adding new accounting-related data fieldsEnhancing application search functionalityUpdating accounting screen layoutsDeveloping new reporting featuresCreating invoice reporting capabilitiesProviding ongoing maintenance and operational supportResponsibilitiesSoftware DevelopmentExecute development tasks from the product backlogDesign and develop application enhancementsModify and improve existing functionalityDevelop solutions using C# and ASP.NETWork with SQL Server databasesCreate and optimize stored proceduresParticipate in application architecture and design discussionsTesting & Quality AssurancePerform unit testing for assigned development workParticipate in acceptance testing activitiesResolve defects identified through QA processesSupport User Acceptance Testing (UAT)DocumentationDocument code changes and technical updatesPrepare written status reportsProvide verbal project updates to stakeholders and managementTeam CollaborationParticipate in Agile development ceremonies, including:Sprint PlanningDaily StandupsSprint ReviewsRetrospectivesCollaborate with:Software DevelopersQA AnalystsOperations TeamsBusiness StakeholdersEnvironment & Production SupportCoordinate deployment activities with operations teamsSupport development, testing, and production environmentsAssist with maintenance and operational support activitiesRequired QualificationsMinimum QualificationsMQ1: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development, systems analysis, design, and programming.MQ2: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.MQ3: Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience with:C#ASP.NETMQ4: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with:Microsoft SQL ServerMQ5: Minimum of three (3) years of experience working within Agile frameworks, including:ScrumKanbanOther Agile methodologiesDesired QualificationsDQ1: Minimum of three (3) years of experience implementing data protection and security best practices, including work with Protected Health Information (PHI) or other sensitive data.DQ2: Minimum of three (3) years of experience working with:APIsIntegration platforms and toolsetsDQ3: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in one or more of the following:Developing application solutionsProviding technical consulting on existing on-premises frameworksDQ4: Minimum of three (3) years of experience with:Writing stored proceduresDatabase performance tuning and optimizationWork LocationThis position is primarily remote.Requirements include:Must reside within the continental United StatesOffshore resources are not eligibleOccasional travel may be required based on business needsMost work will be performed remotelyPotential Travel ExpectationsUp to two (2) trips per quarter may be requiredTravel destinations may include various organizational offices and operational facilities throughout California.Interested in hearing more?
