Construction Superintendent

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and management software. Duties Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications. Manage subcontractors and laborers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality workmanship. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and quality control. Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates and budgets. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders including clients, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare reports on project status, including timelines, budgets, and any potential issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies on the construction site. Requirements Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and budgeting practices. Familiarity with commercial construction practices is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team of workers. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills for interaction with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
