Role Description This is an on-site contract role for a Structural Drafter, located in Orange County, CA. Responsibilities include preparing detailed shop, technical, and architectural drawings using specialized software under the supervision of the engineering team. The Structural Drafter will collaborate with engineers and architects to produce accurate plans and models, support Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives, and assist with project coordination to maintain efficient timelines and standards. Qualifications Proficiency in Shop Drawings, Technical Drawing, and Architectural DrawingsUnderstanding of Structural Engineering concepts and principlesExperience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and processesStrong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and organized project documentsExcellent teamwork and communication skillsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred2+ years of professional experience in structural drafting is an asset
