Utilizing state-of-the-art facilities, cutting-edge technologies, and a highly skilled workforce, CTS Engines offers comprehensive solutions tailored to meet specific needs.POSITION SUMMARYThe Aircraft Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performs removal/installation, cleaning, inspection, repair and replacement of Power Plant systems components and accessories. All work is performed in accordance with FAA regulations, applicable manufacturer maintenance manuals, company directives and other approved data. This position will be based in Coral Springs, Fl.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESPerform all airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications required to meet company and regulatory requirements.Operate all power tools and equipment necessary to accomplish job assignmentsComplete all required maintenance records in an accurate manner to include accurately reporting of times required to accomplish the tasks assignedMust support all company policies and safety programs to include OSHA and EPA regulationsInterpret technical manuals, drawings and blueprintsPresent a clean and neat work areaDemonstrate professionalism and deliver satisfaction to the internal/external customerPerform other related duties & responsibilities as assigned· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills· Must be able to work overtime, shift work & weekends at short notice** "In alignment with our new programs, candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents to be considered for employment. We don't have sponsor plans at the moment**Requirements: EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE · Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required· Power plant license preferred· 2 years of experience as a jet engine technician – preferredMust be able to read, write and understand English as this is a FAA requirement· A valid driver's licenseREQUIRED SKILLSSuccessful candidate will be highly motivated and work effectively under pressure and time constraintsMust have the ability to multi-task within a team environmentStrong working knowledge of Windows and MS Office programsPossess proven inspection competenciesMust be detail-oriented and well organized; demonstrate excellent communication skills, and a positive attitudeSuccessful candidate will ideally have own set of hand tools. Specialized aircraft tooling will be furnished by the companyMust maintain a valid driver's license· Ability to read and interpret manuals, diagrams and work cards· Excellent customer service and interpersonal skillsWORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, EPA, FAA, DOT, and State and Federal regulations.As required by the position, must have the ability to wear a respirator as per OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 "Respirator Protection" regulations with no restrictions that would prevent the proper use and/or seal of the respirator.Ability to work flexible hours and different shifts if requiredEmployees will be subject to the random drug and alcohol testing under FAA regulations.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
