Water & Wastewater Operator

H2O Innovation is seeking a newOperatorto join our team in Dallas-Fort Worth TX. Our next colleague will have a full-time & permanent position. Oversee the operation and maintenance of treatment plants and pumping stations in accordance with established standards. Conduct regular inspections of the collection and distribution systems as well as the treatment plants. Create and initiate work orders for operational servicing and repairs. Prepare and manage activity and work orders for both preventive and corrective maintenance. Order goods and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records. Provide guidance and support to plant team members. Communicate with operators, clients, and management regarding any issues that may affect the treatment process, compliance, or public health. Support water and wastewater treatment projects by assisting in the development of project plans and SOPs, as well as justifying and executing project requests. Foster and maintain positive relationships and communication between operators and customers. The Skills We Are Looking ForMinimum Class D License required. A CDL is an asset. Valid Driver's License required. Ability to provide excellent customer service. Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn all aspects of the water and wastewater field. Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):Walking & Standing: 4-8 hr/day; Bending & Reaching: 4-8 hr/day; Pushing & pulling: 4-8 hr/day; Driving 4-6 hr/day; Physical Effort: does not lift weights more than 100 lbs; Environmental Stress: busy atmosphere, working inside and outside.
