General Labor Technician

Duties Assist with the setup and operation of machinery using hand tools and power tools to support assembly line activities. Load, unload, and move materials within the manufacturing facility using forklifts and other equipment. Support the assembly process by organizing parts, preparing materials, and ensuring components are ready for production. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues. Maintain accurate records of materials moved or assembled, supporting inventory management efforts. Collaborate with team members on various tasks to meet daily production goals efficiently. Assist in warehouse operations by organizing stock, preparing shipments, and managing supplies as needed. Qualifications Prior experience working in a factory or manufacturing facility is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly line processes is advantageous. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts (certification preferred), and warehouse equipment safely. Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks throughout shifts. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. Basic understanding of safety procedures within a manufacturing environment. Previous experience with warehouse operations or using hand tools enhances candidacy but is not mandatory; training will be provided.
