As organizations increasingly rely on AI-generated answers and agent-driven workflows, Profound provides the analytics and tools needed to manage AI visibility and brand presence.Profound is hiring a Senior Commercial Counsel to serve as the legal backbone of its go-to-market motion. This role partners closely with Sales and leadership to structure, negotiate, and close a high volume of commercial transactions while enabling rapid deal velocity in a fast-moving AI company.In this role, you will lead negotiation of outbound commercial agreements, procurement contracts, partnership deals, and strategic business development arrangements. You will act as the primary legal partner to the Sales organization, manage the contract review process end-to-end, and develop scalable templates, playbooks, and legal workflows that improve deal efficiency.You will also monitor evolving regulations around AI, data privacy, and intellectual property, translating regulatory developments into practical guidance for the business. The role includes helping design and iterate on the company's AI-enabled legal operations strategy to support continued growth.The ideal candidate brings 6-10 years of legal experience, including in-house experience negotiating B2B SaaS agreements in high-growth technology environments. You have strong commercial judgment, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to balance legal risk with business objectives while operating autonomously in fast-paced settings.
