Required Skills: Valid and unrestricted medical license in Indiana or the ability to obtain one promptlyBoard certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with OB trainingProven experience in obstetrical inpatient care and hospitalist servicesExcellent clinical judgment and strong communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamNice to Have Skills: Prior experience as a locum or hospitalist in obstetricsFamiliarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systemsAbility to handle high-volume deliveries and emergencies efficientlyBLS and Naloxone certification; NRP certification is a plusPreferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolAt least 2 years of obstetrics experience in a hospital settingActive Indiana medical license or eligibility to obtain one quicklyOther Requirements: Availability to start on December 31, 2025, with flexible scheduling optionsAbility to travel to Evansville, IN, and stay for the duration of the assignmentCertification in ACLS and NRP preferred; must maintain state and federal compliance standardsWillingness to participate in ongoing quality improvement initiativesCompensation for this assignment is $214.50 per hour, with weekly pay via direct deposit.
