Order Manager
Shift 1 (United States of America)Job Description-Milacron is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Order Manager to oversee the start-to-end process of order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and keen eye for accuracy. As the Order Manager, you will collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless order processing, timely deliveries, and customer satisfaction.What You'll DoManage and monitor all aspects of both external and internal sales order processing cycles, from order entry to shipment.Resolve order discrepancies, address customer inquiries, and provide timely updates on order status.Create a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential timeline delays and working with a cross functional team to develop action plan to recoverDevelop and implement efficient order fulfillment processes to enhance productivity and minimize errors.Collaborate with vendors and logistics to optimize shipping and delivery process.Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance overall efficiency.Generate and analyze reports related to order processing and fulfillment metrics.Ensure compliance with Milacron's policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all order-related activities.Ensure prompt and transparent communication between Milacron, sales teams, and/or customers regarding shipping status of orders. This includes providing timely notifications for shipped items, tracking information, and proactively addressing any delays with clear and concise updates, fostering a positive customer experience and maintaining trust in our service.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in engineering or project management. Or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail and sound decision making based on structured data.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.Working knowledge of CRM software.Proficient in MS Office tools including Project.Self-driven with ability to work independently or as part of a teamWho We AreMilacron is a global leader in the manufacture, distribution and service of highly engineered and customized systems within the $27 billion plastic technology and processing industry.
