Logistic Scale Operator

Job Summary: The Logistic Scale Operator is responsible for managing the weighing and documentation of inbound and outbound shipments within a plant or warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate data entry, proper documentation, and smooth coordination with drivers, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Operate electronic scales to weigh incoming and outgoing vehicles Generate and manage weight tickets, bills of lading, and shipment records Accurately enter shipment and purchase data into internal systems Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and customers for smooth logistics operations Handle payment processing and assist with reporting activities Maintain organized records and filing systems Provide phone support and assist with general clerical duties Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards Required Skills: Strong customer service and communication skills Basic computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word) Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures Basic problem-solving skills Preferred Skills: Bilingual communication skills Experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or warehouse operations Familiarity with ERP or inventory systems Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required Education: High School
