Computer Systems Analyst 3

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Principal Windows Systems Administrator to join a dynamic IT team supporting classified programs. This role involves maintaining and enhancing secure, enterprise-level systems in a high-impact environment.This is a fully onsite position and requires working with classified systems. Key Responsibilities Administer and support Windows-based systems in a secure environmentMaintain reliable operation of multi-user computer systemsCollaborate with network engineers, system engineers, technicians, and end usersSupport multiple networks and ensure system administration tasks are completedAnalyze requirements and recommend technical solutionsInstall, patch, upgrade, and monitor system performancePerform backup and recovery operationsManage file systems, disk space, and virus protectionCreate and manage user accounts, permissions, and access controlsTest and validate new system releasesDevelop and maintain technical documentationTroubleshoot system issues across hardware, software, and network layersEnsure compliance with strict information security standardsMaintain audit and logging processesProvide status updates on assigned effortsLift equipment up to 40 lbs and support after-hours needs as required Basic Qualifications One of the following:Master’s degree + 3 years of IT experienceBachelor’s degree + 5 years of IT experienceAssociate’s degree + 7 years of IT experienceHigh School diploma/GED + 9 years of IT experienceDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE)Experience managing Windows Server environmentsExperience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and domain architectureActive Top Secret/SCI clearance with a current or recent polygraph (within 5 years)Ability to obtain and maintain access to special programs Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fieldSecurity+ CE, MCSE, or similar certifications6+ years supporting Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Exchange, and Group PolicyExperience working in secure or classified IT environmentsFamiliarity with frameworks such as NISPOM, RMF, STIG, or JSIGKnowledge of networking concepts (subnets, routing, VLANs)Experience with system imaging and deploymentVMware and SAN storage experienceLinux administration experience and/or certificationsExperience with monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, SolarWinds)Scripting experience (mid to advanced level)Experience with Certification & Accreditation processesSAP/SAR access Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of El Segundo, CA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $46.50/hr.
