Tooling EngineerLos Angeles, CA | Full-Time | On-SiteSeeking a Tooling Engineer to support prototype manufacturing, structural integration, and test operations in a fast-paced aerospace development environment.Responsibilities:Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and integration hardware for prototype builds and test campaignsSupport fabrication, assembly, and integration activities across manufacturing and engineering teamsCoordinate with structures, manufacturing, and test engineering to define tooling and process requirementsDevelop rapid-turn tooling solutions using machining, additive manufacturing, and composite fabrication methodsPerform tooling validation, fit checks, and hands-on troubleshooting during buildsDrive tooling improvements to reduce build time and improve repeatabilityMaintain tooling documentation, configuration control, and safety complianceManage vendor coordination and tooling schedules to support development milestonesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or related Engineering fieldStrong engineering fundamentals and hands-on hardware experienceExperience with CAD and mechanical designFamiliarity with machining, welding, forming, and manufacturing processesWorking knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawingsAbility to work in rapid development and prototype environmentsPreferred:Experience with prototype tooling and low-volume manufacturingFamiliarity with additive manufacturing and composite fabricationExperience using CATIA, NX, or SolidWorksBackground supporting aerospace or high-performance hardware programsCompensation:$130 – $185 base salary + more
