POSITION DESCRIPTIONDate: 7.18.25Position Title: Maintenance WorkerDepartment: Environmental ServicesReports to: Director of MaintenancePosition Information: Full Time, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, 2p-10:30p), will need to be available for "on call emergencies"Full Time, 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, 8a-4:30p), will need to be available for "on call emergencies"QualificationsHigh School Diploma Experience with major-building systems. Ability to learn and attain the required skills to independently perform equipment repairs, HVAC, and light electrical and plumbing.Essential Functions1. Follow written work orders.2. Follow verbal instructions.3. Understand major building systems.4. Make repairs to facility equipment and fixtures.5. Follow the Preventative Maintenance Program.6. Train with the Maintenance Technician on HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing and attain the skills needed to independently perform these duties.7. Maintain the overall condition of the Building and Grounds.8. Perform waste disposal procedures in accordance with facility policy.9. Attend in-service training programs.10. Follow Resident's Rights policies at all times.11. Be available for facility emergencies including on-call procedures.12. Follow facility safety program.13. Observe infection control procedures related to the Maintenance Department.14. Come to work as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.15. Accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner.16. Assume accountability for data contained in the staff handbook.17.
