This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in early-stage, deep-tech environments and enjoys partnering closely with technical leaders to build teams from the ground up.You'll play a critical role in shaping the company's talent strategy by sourcing hard-to-find profiles and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn full-cycle recruiting for technical roles, as well as some non-technical and production rolesPartner closely with the founder and hiring managers to:Define hiring needs in ambiguous or evolving problem spacesCalibrate technical requirements and hiring barPrioritize hiring based on company milestones and timelinesProactively source candidates using:LinkedIn, referrals, technical networks, and creative outbound strategiesNon-traditional talent pools across space, energy, aerospace, defense, and deep-tech startupsCraft and iterate on outreach messaging to improve response ratesConduct recruiter screens assessing:Technical depth (at a high level)Ownership mindset and problem-solving abilityFit for an early-stage, fast-moving environmentCoordinate interviews, manage feedback loops, and guide candidates through the processTrack pipeline metrics and provide hiring insights to leadershipContinuously improve recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experienceQualifications5+ years of experience in technical recruitingProven experience hiring for hardware, space, energy, robotics, or deep-tech rolesStrong sourcing skills and comfort with outbound recruiting for technical talentMust have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate credibly with engineers and technical leadersExperience operating in ambiguous environments with evolving requirementsHigh ownership mindset and bias toward actionExceptional organizational skillsStartup experience (Seed-Series B) strongly preferredKnowledge of recruiting metrics, funnel optimization, and partnering with external agencies are nice to haveWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation, equity, and comprehensive benefits.A front-row seat to the development of civilization-changing technology.The opportunity to define and elevate the digital brand voice of one of the most ambitious companies at the intersection of energy and space.A mission-driven, collaborative culture dedicated to solving global-scale challenges through innovation and rigorous execution.
