If you’re an Early Career Program Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Early Career Program Manager will be responsible for developing, managing and executing our university relations, university recruiting, veteran recruiting, and high school apprenticeship programs. This person will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leading change, and working through a network of internal stakeholders to enable the organization to hire a diverse cohort of early career talent.What You Will Be DoingDevelop and execute the company's university relations/recruiting and veteran recruiting strategy, including identifying target schools, building relationships with key stakeholders, and managing campus and recruiting events. Oversee the high school apprenticeship program, including identifying target schools, developing program curriculum, managing program logistics, and coordinating with school personnel. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for university relations best practices, strategies, processes, quality benchmarks and standards for recruiting. Strategic design of intern and early career programsLead change management throughout the organization focused on forecasting talent needs, hiring for potential, intern conversions, and designing engaging internship experiences. Provide insights, recommendations, and strategic direction to our Leadership Team on campus environment, digital innovations and best practices across Early Careers (EC) to ensure best in class talent results and increase our attractiveness to the next generation of leaders. Establish a network of internal stakeholders to create and grow relationships with various associations and schools to grow Woodward’s presence at these institutions and organizations. Review and reporting of ROI on program, key performance metrics and status reporting. Monitor program metrics to ensure the effectiveness of the early career programs, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomesPartner with Talent Acquisition and Human Resources to ensure identification of diverse talent is central to the sourcing and recruitment strategy. Coordinate support (organize and ship materials to campuses, logistical/planning support for intern events, assist with internal communications for campus events, calendar invites and informational emails, creating flyers and promotional materials for various Campus events). Identify and coordinate support for career fair and recruitment events. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the success of the early career programs, including Human Resources, Business Communications and other key stakeholders. What We Are Looking ForBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Direct experience in university relations, university recruiting, and/or veteran recruiting. Experience in the development and administration of an Early Career program; deep and broad network of relationships with universities and professors. Strong leadership and people management skills. Ability to influence and lead changeExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Strong project management and organizational skills. Knowledgeable in social media outlets including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook. Familiarity with recruiting software and tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Openness to feedback, curiosity to learn, and adaptability Ability to travel as needed.
