CLERK INVENTORY I
Position SummaryThis is an entry level position responsible for processing work orders involving Equipment Maintenance Inventory and completion of all administrative duties for work performed in Equipment Maintenance. The employee in this position maintains employee documents to include department training and external training, safety meetings, fuel keys, parts and work order files. Responsible for providing additional clerical duties as assigned within Equipment Maintenance. This position reports to the Supervisor of Inventory and requires reliability, dependability, and accountability in all aspects of the defined role. The employee in this position will be required to work; Tuesday – Friday 10am-6:30pm and Saturday 7am – 3:30pm.Essential Functions & Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesThe duties and responsibilities provided are illustrative and not exhaustive. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Process all repair orders for the Maintenance Department.Answer incoming calls for the Maintenance Department via the Telephone or Radio.Provide good internal and external customer service.Order gasoline and diesel fuel when necessary and track daily fuel usage.Assist with various duties within Inventory Section as required.May be required to work other shifts and weekends when needed.Ability to operate company vehicle to pick up parts as needed.Maintain department files to include work orders, parts, safety meeting attendee logs, internal and external training, and ongoing certifications and renewals for employees in the Equipment Maintenance department.Contacts vendors for formal quotes and delivery information.Provide additional support services to the Maintenance department as needed.Ability to work; Tuesday – Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday 7am – 3:30pmKnowledge, Skills And AbilityTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
