Salesforce Trainer / Business Analyst

Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Salesforce Business Analyst & Trainer to serve as a strategic bridge between business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams. This individual will drive requirements gathering, process optimization, user adoption, and Salesforce enablement initiatives to maximize platform ROI and operational efficiency. The role combines traditional Business Analyst responsibilities with a strong focus on training, change management, and long-term user engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business and functional requirementsTranslate business needs into detailed user stories, process flows, and functional specifications for technical teamsFacilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews across departmentsWork closely with Salesforce Administrators, Developers, Architects, and third-party partners to support solution deliveryAnalyze existing business processes and recommend scalable Salesforce-driven improvementsSupport testing efforts including UAT coordination, defect tracking, and validation of delivered solutionsCreate and maintain system documentation, SOPs, training materials, and knowledge base contentLead Salesforce user onboarding, training sessions, workshops, and ongoing enablement initiativesDevelop adoption strategies to improve user engagement, data quality, and process complianceMonitor platform utilization and user behavior metrics to identify training gaps and optimization opportunitiesPartner with leadership to track KPIs, adoption metrics, and overall Salesforce ROIAct as a trusted advisor to end users by promoting best practices and continuous improvementRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst, Salesforce Consultant, or related roleStrong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities including Sales Cloud and Service CloudExperience gathering requirements and translating business processes into technical solutionsProven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience creating training programs, user guides, and conducting end-user training sessionsStrong documentation, communication, and presentation skillsExperience with Agile or Scrum delivery methodologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsSalesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, or Advanced AdministratorExperience with user adoption/change management initiativesFamiliarity with reporting and dashboard developmentExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar documentation platformsExperience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce environmentsCore Skill SetsRequirements Gathering & DocumentationBusiness Process MappingSalesforce User Adoption & EnablementEnd-User Training & Change ManagementStakeholder ManagementCross-Functional CollaborationAgile Project SupportReporting & KPI AnalysisCommunication & Presentation SkillsProcess Optimization & ROI Delivery
