This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with elementary-aged children in a structured, active, and supportive environment.Responsibilities:Supervise and engage school-age children during after-school hoursAssist with homework and educational activitiesLead structured play, enrichment activities, and character-building programsMaintain a safe, positive, and respectful environmentCommunicate effectively with parents and staffQualifications:Meets Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) requirements for school-age child careGrowth and DevelopmentSchool Age Methods and Materials9 Hour Communitcation CourseExperience working with school-age children preferredStrong classroom management and communication skillsCPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)Preferred:MSDE-approved training and certifications already completedGrowth and DevelopmentSchool Age Methods and Materials9 Hour Communitcation CourseExperience in after-school or enrichment programs
