DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the U.S. Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking System (IBS) program. This role is responsible for leading secure, automated software delivery through CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and security integration.We are looking for an engineer who designs and improves systems that enable reliable, scalable, and secure delivery. You will lead the evolution of GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, and DevSecOps practices.The IBS technology stack includes Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot), and this role requires strong familiarity with these technologies to support pipeline design, build optimization, and troubleshooting.CI/CD Architecture & AutomationDesign and lead implementation of GitLab CI/CD pipelinesEstablish reusable pipeline standards across teamsOptimize build performance, reliability, and scalabilityPlatform & Container StrategyLead Kubernetes architecture and deployment strategies using HelmEnsure stable and scalable environments across all system stagesTroubleshoot complex system and cluster-level issuesSecurity IntegrationLead integration of Fortify, SonarQube, and security tooling into pipelinesEstablish secure development and deployment practicesEnsure compliance with DoD security requirements (STIGs, RMF)Cross-Team LeadershipPartner with Angular and Java teams to improve workflows and delivery pipelinesProvide mentorship and guidance to mid-level engineersDrive adoption of DevSecOps best practices across teamsDocumentation & StandardsDefine and maintain DevSecOps standards, runbooks, and system documentationPromote well-documented, maintainable systemsContinuous ImprovementLead evaluation of tools and practices with a focus on simplicity and scalabilityDrive improvements in developer experience and system performanceActive Secret ClearanceIAT Level II certification (CompTIA Security+ CE required)5-7+ years of DevSecOps/DevOps experienceStrong experience with GitLab CI/CDStrong Linux and Bash scripting expertiseExperience with Kubernetes, Helm, and DockerExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or similar)Experience integrating Fortify, SonarQube, or similar toolsStrong familiarity with Angular (TypeScript) and Java (Spring Boot)Strong troubleshooting and system-level problem-solving skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsPreferredExperience supporting DoD or USTRANSCOM systemsKnowledge of DISA STIGs and RMF processesExperience with AWS (GovCloud preferred)Experience supporting microservices architecturesExperience leading DevSecOps or platform engineering effortsEEO and Affirmative Action Policy DecisionPoint Corporation is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
