Experienced Electronic Solderers/Assemblers, Temp to Hire - Benefits
Job Description
Our client company has been producing precision resonators, oscillators and filters for over fifty-five years and designs and manufactures these solutions for data timing and radio frequency spectrum control in high reliability and harsh environment applications. In aerospace and defense markets the company's digitally tuned filters support secure communications in the presence of electromagnetic interference. Low drift, highly accurate oscillators provide reliable frequency lock for ground, vehicle, air and satellite communication as well as electronic countermeasures. Vibration and shock resistant crystal clocks sharpen radar images and help monitor commercial aircraft engine performance. For Internet communication, their very low noise and packet sync clocks help increase bandwidth and prevent data loss in cellular base stations, micro and femto cells and Wi-Fi access points. Millimeter wave filters ensure corporate and telecom point-to-point links stay error free. On the lab bench or consumer electronics production test floors, the company's ultra-low noise frequency reference oscillators insure accurate measurements. When public safety is paramount, wide temperature range/waterproof cavity filters ensure reliable radio communication. Satellite links, phased array radars and anti-IED jammers use their RF power amplifiers to boost the signal to the antenna. The company is based in Central Florida with manufacturing in the United States and India and is vertically integrated with deep experience in basic material science, design and manufacturing. With AS9100 Rev D and ISO 9001:2015 certification the company provides sales and support worldwide and is a recognized service leader supporting innovation and reliability at major OEMs including Raytheon, L3, Harris, Rockwell Collins, Garmin and nearly 2,000 smaller clients through distribution partners. The company has an immediate need for Solderers/Assemblers, First & Second Shift, at their Orlando plant.Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesSolder Assembler 1– Able to read and follows procedures exactly as written.– Continues to follows Good Manufacturing Practices (2D0-1004) including STEP-C– Understands all aspects of Sn63 solder assembly including>Thru-hole components>Surface mount chips 0402 and larger– Must recognize J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing solder electrical and electronic assemblies– Full understanding of MtronPTI ESD procedures– Use of hand tools such as torque tools, calipers, wire stripping, tinning pots, vacuum ovens, etc.– Capable of performing tin and wick operations for gold mitigation– Follow safe guidelines for chemical storage and use– Maintains safe and clean working areas.Solder Assembler 2– All function of Solder Assembler 1– Able to be self-sufficient in main work area– Assists in preparing and lining up work for Solder Assembler 1 personnel– Understands all aspects of Sn96 solder assembly including>Thru-hole components>Surface mount chips 0402 and larger– Understands and uses leak detection equipment (gross/fine), performs epoxy processSolder Assembler 3– All functions of Solder Assembler 2– Able to be self-sufficient in main work area– Assists in preparing and lining up work for Solder Assembler 1 personnel– Understands all aspects of Sn10 solder assembly including>Thru-hole components>Surface mount chips 0402 and larger– Is well cross trained within their main department but can also work in other departments within the production area.Solder Assembler 4– All functions of Solder Assembler 3– Fully understands Space Addendum of J-STD-001– Continually works and produces S-Level Assembly work– Able to be self-sufficient in main work area– Assists in preparing and lining up work for other personnel.– Works with process engineering to suggest changes in process or product to improve throughout, yield, etc.– Periodically checks with other peers or line leads to support other functions as needed in the finish product line– Mentors employees.– Trains employees.Solder Assembler 5– All functions of Solder Assembler 4– Is recognized as the resident expert in the assembly area.– Typically, an Area Lead with additional responsibilities of assigning work, inspections, AX transactions and other similar responsibilities as assigned.– Is well cross trained within their main department but can also work in other departments within the production area.– Mentors employees.– Trains employees.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insurance
