For this role, the pay range is $20.00-25.00 per hour, with individual compensation determined by your unique skills, experience level, and other relevant factorsSchedule: Enjoy a 4-day work week, 10-hours a day (Monday-Thursday Between 6:00am and 6:00pm).Additional hours may be required during busier timesWhat You Will be Doing:Performs entry-level tasks to support the research and development of new products including validation testing, reporting, and design in accordance with product specifications and quality standards.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Work with department and cross functional project teams to design products/tools for HVAC techniciansSupport department goals by performing testing and evaluation of prototype and production parts, production support, and developing specifications for Ritchie Engineering product ideasTransform initial rough product designs into working production ready documents using SolidWorksReview engineering drawing and designs to ensure adherence to established specifications and standardsUpdate/change released production documentation utilizing current change processDevelop Bill of Materials that will be entered into business system using ECM ProcessCreate production ready drawings for parts and assemblies using SolidWorks in a timely mannerUse SolidWorks Best Practices to ensure accurate, editable, and complete models and drawingsSupport process engineering requirements by updating necessary documents per required changesMaintain file revision utilizing current Engineering Data Management SystemCommunicate potential design problems or issues in a timely manner to the responsible team memberBuild test plans, perform validation testing, and write test reportsAnalyze competitive productsOther duties as assigned including training others on known processesWhat You Will Bring:Required:Enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year college pursuing an Engineering or similar degreeExperienced in 3D CAD modeling softwareProficiency in reading and writing in EnglishHighly organized, self-motivated and can work independentlyMust be highly self-motivated, work with minimal supervision and be able to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong interpersonal and leadership skills as well as excellent communication skills (both written and oral) with ability to manage multiple priorities.Preferred:Experienced with SolidworksExperienced with ERP systemsWhere and How You Will WorkOn-site Engagement and Collaboration:This role works on-site in Bloomington, MN, where your direct contributions will make a real impact.
