Business Systems Analyst For User Migration Location: RemoteProject: Data migration project from on prem to Google Cloud Platform. They are behind on their goal of having 50% of the user community that is responsible for reporting and analytics migrated over to getting their data from the cloud by the end of 2022. They need someone to come in and help out the hiring manager with getting this project back on track.What will the primary day-to-day responsibilities entail for this person?Advise clients on requirements for the organization and translate those to programmers and developers.Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.Advise clients regarding the nature of the information processing or computation needs.Advise management on current system principles and necessary updates and recommendations.Supervise the expansion or modification of system to serve new purposes or improve work flow. Interview or survey workers, observe job performance or perform the job to determine what information is processed and how it is processed.Train staff and users to work with computer systems and programs.TOP 2 or 3 required skills that candidates must have:Understanding of data engineering or previous data migration experience form on prem to cloud preferredVerbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.Strong knowledge of design techniques and principals involved in production of drawings and models.Data visualization experience with Visio or PowerPointExtensive process mapping experienceEducation/Experience: Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
