Leasing Manager - Property ManagementApartment Services, Inc. - Windsor Mill, MDFull-Time | Weekend Rotation Required | Multi-Property Support May Be RequiredJoin Our Team: Apartment Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Leasing Manager to lead daily leasing office operations while delivering excellent customer service to residents and prospects. This role is ideal for someone with a background in property management, leasing, team leadership, and resident relations who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Leasing Manager will oversee leasing staff, support occupancy goals, maintain strong resident relationships, and help ensure efficient property operations.What You'll DoSupervise the daily operations of the leasing office and leasing teamSupport, coach, and train leasing staff in accordance with company policiesAssist with onboarding and performance management of team membersInteract with residents regarding payments, service requests, renewals, and general concernsEnsure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and safety proceduresMaintain communication between leasing and maintenance teams to support property operationsInspect grounds, common areas, vacant units, and model apartments regularlyCoordinate move-out inspections and complete related paperworkManage delinquency and resident collections through consistent follow-upAssist with eviction processes and appear in court as neededCoordinate leasing schedules and approve site payrollMonitor property security, key control, and office organizationSupport marketing and advertising efforts for apartment vacanciesCommunicate property updates and operational concerns to the Regional ManagerParticipate in emergency response proceduresand reporting as neededWhat We're Looking ForExperience in property management, leasing, or residential operationsPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience preferredStrong customer service, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProfessional, approachable, and team-oriented attitudeFamiliarity with leases, resident relations, and collections processesExperience with Yardi or property management software preferredProficiency in Microsoft OfficeRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 2 years of related experience preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredAbility to travel between properties as neededAbility to walk properties, sit for extended periods, and work on a computerAbility to lift up to 15lbs as neededProfessional appearance and communication skillsAvailability to work weekends and/or community events on a rotating scheduleBenefitsTransportation Allowance8 Paid HolidaysPaid Funeral Leave & Jury Duty LeaveHealth Benefits (eligible 1st of month after 60 days):Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceEmployer-paid Life InsuranceVoluntary Life Insurance optionsShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Retirement (eligible after 3 months, age 21+):Traditional & Roth 401(k) optionsAdditional Perks:Employee Recognition ProgramDiscounted Housing (details discussed during interview)
