Responsibilities:
We are now hiring for an Apprentice General Manager. As an Apprentice General Manager, you’ll start learning our business from day one. You will be entrusted to serve as both the face of Menchie’s to customers and partners and the behind-the-scenes operational expert. In the program, you will master the knowledge and skills you need to manage the store, cultivate new business and develop your team.
In our hands-on learning environment, you will receive the guidance, mentoring, and support you need to be successful. You will also get out into the community and establish the relationships essential to building your own business. We’ll teach you how to excel at customer service, sales and marketing, finance, and operations. And you’ll learn what it means to always put our customers first.
Responsibilities
Coaching, and inspiring the team to deliver exceptional customer service
Demonstrated leadership abilities and works well in a team environment
Supervises the day-to-day operations and performance of the team to provide the highest level of customer service for the customer
Establishes and communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure mutual understanding and desired results
Qualifications
High level of ethics, values, integrity, and trust
Must have a minimum of 1 year experience in sales, customer service, management or leadership.
Ability to develop rapport, trust, and open communication that enhances the growth and job performance of direct reports
Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience
Is resourceful and versatile in responding to changing demands and opportunities in a rapidly changing omni-channel retail environment
Initiates completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision
Flexible availability – including nights, weekends, and holidays
This position requires a valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
