adoption.This is not a traditional solutions engineering role.This is not a slideware/demo role.And this is not a pure research position.This role sits directly at the intersection of: Technical architecture Customer discovery AI and data workflows Pilot design Executive communication Partner enablement Procurement readiness Commercial executionThe right person knows how to take ambiguous customer interest and turn it into: A clearly defined use case A technically credible solution A scoped pilot A repeatable package A procurement path A funded operational opportunityYou will work directly with leadership, engineering, strategic partners, and customers across defense, federal, homeland security, infrastructure, space, and commercial markets.What You’ll Be Responsible ForCustomer Discovery & Technical ScopingYou’ll lead or support conversations with technical buyers, operators, program leaders, and executives to understand: Mission problems Operational constraints Data environments Security requirements Decision workflows Infrastructure realities Procurement considerationsYou must be able to separate genuine buyer pain from technical curiosity and help shape opportunities into actionable next steps.Technical-to-Commercial TranslationOne of the most important parts of this role is communication.You should be able to explain advanced AI, data fusion, cyber, spatial, and infrastructure concepts in a way that executives, operators, procurement teams, and partners can actually understand.You must know how to simplify without oversimplifying.Pilot & Package DevelopmentWe are intentionally building repeatable, scalable offerings — not endless custom engineering engagements.You will help define: Pilot structure Technical scope Success criteria Integration helping Aperio scale intelligently.You will help leadership: Avoid uncontrolled customization Protect margin and delivery discipline Align technical commitments to commercial reality Standardize pricing and packaging inputs Build repeatable customer-facing artifactsWhat You Should Already Be Comfortable With AI / ML systems and workflows Data fusion and decision-support systems Cloud, edge, hybrid, and secure deployments Cybersecurity and data governance concepts Executive-facing technical conversations Pre-sales engineering or solution architecture Federal or enterprise customer environments Moving opportunities from discovery → pilot → operational adoptionStrong preference for experience supporting: Defense Intelligence DHS Critical infrastructure Space or geospatial environmentsBonus points for familiarity with: NVIDIA accelerated infrastructure Dell AI Factory environments Carahsoft ecosystem GSA / SEWP / OTA procurement paths Spatial intelligence / digital
