Senior Software Developer (Remote)

The Senior Software Developer (remote), will play a key role in building, deploying, and optimizing software, and work closely with other teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions. You will be responsible for driving automation initiatives, improving software delivery speed, and ensuring high availability and performance of our systems. You will also mentor junior team members and champion best practices across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and maintain software applications according to specificationsCollaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver features on timeTroubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing code to improve performance and maintainabilityWrite clean, efficient, and well-documented codeParticipate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharingAssist in the design and implementation of software architectureStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend their adoption when appropriateRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree (BA or BS) with 12 years of experience in software developmentPublic Trust Tier 2 clearance (minimum)Full- stack developer with strong C#, Angular (at least four years and recent), and MS SQL Server experienceSecurity+ CE certificateExperience developing in an AWS cloud environmentProviding DevSecOps support for AWS cloud architecture and deploymentsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize complex systemsDesigning and writing unit testsExperience with modern web APIsStrong understanding of data modeling and database programmingExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical challenges and solutionsWork closely with cross-functional teams (analysts, testers, tech writers, DBAs) to ensure smooth integration of new features into production environmentsTroubleshoot and optimize build, deployment, and infrastructure processes for maximum performance and reliabilityLeading and mentoring more junior developersC2 Essentials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
